I feel all guilty and such, so I thought I would post. Last week I hardly
exercised since I was so exhausted. Then when I finally felt like
exercising, that dumb hurricane came thru.
So finally I was able to exercise last weekend.

Monday I did not exercise because it was pouring rain, even though it
stopped for awhile, so I had opportunities to exercise. Tuesday, I just did
not feel like it. Today I intend on walking, but I just don't know what my
problem is. I love to exercise, but it always seems like something is
coming up. This is something I always want to keep in my daily schedule,
for as long as I live! (give or take a day here and there). I exercise
outdoors since there is still nice weather left. I do have a gym membership
though for winter time.

I am just disappointed in myself and frusterated with life in general. I am
not sure if that is causing my lack of exercise lately.

Kerri

I went through the same the last few days! I had a bad eating weekend, ended up
in Little Italy in NYC and the rest is history! I felt like real crap yesterday!
and I really did not feel like walking this morning! But I got myself together
and reasoned with myself that If I don't get myself under control the 22 pounds
I've lost since Mid July will only slowly creep back on! and I really don't want
that! I am happy I did go for my walk since it puts me back in focus and besides
its really beautiful day here in NYC!

Keri -- everyone goes through some periods from time to time. Don't beat
yourself up over it...just think of it as taking a little break to let your
body have some rest (which you apparently needed)....then, start back to
working out, taking it slower than normal for you at first and then building
up to the higher intensities that you are used to. Don't fret and get
disappointed, just focus on getting back on track.

You'll be fine.

Seek professional help. Lack of exercise and your weight aren't your
problems.

Exercise used to be very hit and miss with me.
Now i've decided to join the gym.. I plan it out each week right down
to what time i'm going to do it.
It's helped immensely for me . Otherwise I was like you.. something
was always coming up , and there didn't seem to be enough time in the
day to fit everything in.

On top of that.. I always had the excuse that I couldnt exercise
because of the kids. I'd have to get daycare for them to go do the
run. etc.

I hope you will get back on track...
I know myself.. the more I exercise.. the more focused I am and the
better all around I feel.
Life's frustrations seem littler and easier to deal with after a good
workout.

Good Luck

Hello
Thanks for the good advice and nice comments!

For the person who thinks I need professional help, exercise is good for
anyone. I have almost always exercised, and when I did not, I gained
weight. One can maintain weight while exercising. Just cuz I am near my
goal weight doesnt mean I should stop worrying about what I eat and sit on
my butt.

That person is wacko and mean. Ignore him. His comment just made no sense
in light of what you posted.
