Does low-carb bread make it easier to stick to this WOE?

I asked my computer-savvy friend about this and he didn't think it was a great idea. Maybe someday I will experiment on a keyboard that is expendable. I've heard this before, too, although I've never had the ba11s to try it. What is a little less intimidating is to pry off the keys and use a swab to clean, with plain water. Wow....I can really relate to where your at with this.... my only suggestion is this.....when I started on Induction a few weeks ago....I ate only the approved foods ...but with "reckless abandon" .. if I wanted more food..I ate more food...and I didn't think about portion size...just as long as I ate foods from the list, I didn't restrict myself...(this is why I only lost 2 lbs in 2 weeks on induction) .after the first week or so...the cravings began to subside....the hunger began to subside..and I found that I could begin to limit portions and calories, while maintaining a satiated feeling....also...the water helps...when I'm craving more food...I drink a 16 oz bottle of water before I let myself have it, if I still want it. (btw, I totally emptied the house of anything forbidden) Same with me. After the first 2 weeks I began limiting my portions, which I found incredibly easy to do on this plan. Like you, I only lost a little on induction. I am still amazed at people who lost 35 lbs in 2 months. I'm not one of them. But I AM losing. About Phen/Fen .. I too...was on it for about 9 months...lost 65 lbs...and was the thinnest I've ever been.....I too wish they would bring it back...I even told my friend, that I would risk the heart trouble to have it back...thats how desperate I felt to be thinner.....it took me 5 years to gain back all 65 lbs I had lost.... With all due respect - anything having is worth working for. I wasn;t on Phen-Fen, but my stepbrother was. Shortly thereafter he died of a heart valve problem during an operation. The dr. attributed it directly to phen-fen. I took doctor prescribed amphetamines in the 70s, lost a zillion and a half pounds, but also most of my teeth. It took a good ten years to lose the weight I gained afterwards. My body was so screwed up. |
