Default Hi there!

Thanks for the advice...I've been doing this for so long now that I'm afraid
to make changes. I don't want to mess with what works for me, but I'm not
just me anymore. I don't have an OB/GYN yet, still waiting for the
insurance to come through (that's a frustrating story in itself!), but I
will see one in the next couple of weeks.

we face fear many times in life. sometimes it's an inner voice,
warning us of danger.
fear is an emotion indispensable for survival.

Default Hi there!

Maintenance is accepatble and healthy. The extra fruit can be acceptable in
moderation as well as the milk although you can get the same amount of
calcium in brocolli, cows milk was never really meant for people . take
your prenatals and ask your doctor.

Well, it's been quite awhile since I popped in here, I wonder if anyone
remembers me. I started low-carbing (Atkins) in March of 2000, and I have
gone from a size 24 to a size 10 since then. I have never strayed from

the
program in that time with the exception of a Baked Alaska dessert on a
cruise this past May. (It was yucky, by the way, and I went back to

eating
berries for dessert after that).
I am so pleased to have found this way of life. I feel like I am in
control of my eating and my weight for the rest of my life, but now I need

a
little help; you see, I'm pregnant (first child, age 39) and not quite
sure how to incorporate this lifestyle into a healthy diet to support my
baby. So far, the only changes that I've made are that I have had a glass
of milk every third day or so, and I eat two or more pieces of fruit
(orange, nectarine, plum, apple) every day. I crave fruit and tomatoes.
Haven't gained any weight yet (8 weeks pregnant). Looking to keep the
weight gain down to around 30 pounds for my 5'8" large framed body. I

weigh
165 now.
I'm hoping someone will have experience in this area and be willing to

help
me out! Thanks in advance,

Auntie Bubbles
