This is my intro post
Hey all! So, I bit the bullet and stepped on the scale. 242.2.
YIPES! Too much for 5 foot 7! I want to meet other people who are trucking through their lives and trying to make changes for the better. I have tried a variety of weight loss programs etc., but with minimal success. I am opting for a 1 change at a time approach. I have introduced more water and less coffee into my day, and now I am I trying to eat more fruit and veggies. I started a blog. I would love to get some readers, but it is mainly so I can write my successes and challenges. It feels more official to me, because other people can see it. You are where I was a year ago---I've lost 90 pounds this last year. Like you, I started out walking--but have added other activities as the year went on and my weight went down. So I *know* you can do this! I look forward to following your progress! |
