The thing is, it looks like your boobs are shrinking because of your
weightloss efforts, not because of doing pushups or butterflies. Are you
trying to say that you think you are "toning" your chest through exercise?

I wouldn't have recommended it if it hadn't.

You can see my own diminishing man-boobs at my link.

Not at all. I'm well aware that there is no such thing as 'toning'.

However, building the pecs will improve their appearance.

It's very difficult to build muscle, pectoral or otherwise, while on a
hypocaloric diet.

In your case specifically, I don't see a change in muscularity. What I do
see is a reduction in bodyfat as a percentage of your total mass.

I'll grant you that using myself wasn't the best example, but the OP is
pretty much at goal weight, so building muscle should be easier.

I had a friend in college who had the man-boob problem at a fairly low
weight. He would look gaunt if he went low enough to eliminate them. So, he
worked his pecs hard. While the fat was still there, the added muscle
dramatically improved his appearance.

That seems a bit more plausible, as long as he's not still trying to lose
weight.

Vic, you shouldn't waste time discussing anything with this JC. He is here
to make people feel bad. He has some sort of mental disability. I feel
sorry for him, but he is just trying to upset you. He has chased countless
people away on this NG. It is best to ignore him. You are progressing very
well and looks like you will continue to do so.

Curt,
I know you mean well but JC is powerful but not THAT powerful. He
can make NO ONE feel bad or have them leave this newsgroup. They
get upset, feel bad and leave because they CHOOSE to.
When you resist anything it will always exist........when you allow it
no longer can bother you.
JC shows people what they are really made of.

JC, is an ass, plain and simple. He is here for himself and his issues. I
have seen worse on Usenet's, but he is up there. If you notice he attacks
people that are really looking for help or are having a tough time. He
prays on them for some reason. I suspect it is to prop himself up and they
are easy targets.

Not sure why you like him, but in my mind, the people that like him have a
little mean steak in them, that is why they like his posts. They like to
see someone get picked on....as long as it isn't themselves.

Respectfully,
Curt
