Aug 17 WI broke my plateau!
Well I finally managed to break the plateau I was in for months. I
lost 1.2 lbs this week. I was beginning to think it was never gonna happen. What did I do different? I upped the intensity of my Walk away the pounds with small weights, and I took 2 days last week where I only ate mostly veggies and fruit with just a little bit of protein. I also changed one of my meds that the doc and I both think might have been part of the problem. Other than that no other changes were made. I just hope I can keep the weight going in a downward direction. I only have 15 lbs to go to make my goal weight. Karen |

Good job. I got on a giant plateau about 20 pounds from goal, but when it
began moving down again, it went steady and fairly quickly all the way to goal. I hope that happens for you as well. -- Lesanne "Karen Officer" wrote in message ... Wow, what a breakthrough! Standing ovation for your perseverance. I
don't know that I could've stuck it out like that. -- Linda P On Wed, 17 Aug 2005 15:48:11 -0700, Karen Officer wrote: Well I finally managed to break the plateau I was in for months. Thanks Audrey. If you could see where my mom is now due to weight
problems and diabetes (heart attack and massive strokes) you would know why I have to be determined....I can't let the weight do that to me, not if I can help it. Thank you for the encouragement. It really does help. I have been
reading this group for over a year, so even when I wasn't posting messages, just reading all the messages was encouraging. Boy, you sure deserve that nice loss, Karen! Congratulations! Those meds
can sure screw up your losses - I know! Elaine Karen Officer wrote: Well I finally managed to break the plateau I was in for months. I lost 1.2 lbs this week.
