So far she doesn't seem too worried probably because I have a high normal BMI and am nowhere near anorexic. Of course she disapproves because it can lead to compensatory binging behaviour and subsequent purging, but I think I'm OK as long as I don't binge or purge too much. I'm going to need a lot of self control, but I can do this. I think my plan is healthy. On it I get enough protein, calcium, omega 3 fatty acids and fiber. It's much healthier than my current way of eating cake and ice cream. I know I will be more healthy eating 800 kcal of healthy foods than eating 1600 kcal of crap. I'm going to try to fit in some exercise as well. I need to lose weight. I have to lose weight. I want to lose my weight quickly, that is why I choose to eat 800 kcal a day. I feel full and satisfied on 800 kcal, so it is enough. Thank-you for your concern, but I'm alright. Today I had approximately 2098 kcal.
