Study Finds Low-Fat Diet Won't Stop Cancer or Heart Disease
I would guess that none of the study participants was eating at a low enough
level of carbohydrates to have a noticeable effect. The people who were eating a "normal" diet probably had plenty of carbs in their mix. Also, there is some suspicion that it's the combination of high carbs and high fat that is the worst. In , Enrico C stated || The || common belief that carbohydrates in the diet lead to higher insulin || levels, higher blood glucose levels and more diabetes was also not || confirmed. There was no such effect among the women eating low-fat || diets. | | Any comments on that? | | | Fup2 [Followup-to: / Risposte a:] | alt.support.diet.low-fat,sci.med.nutrition,alt.support.diet.low-carb | X'Posted to: | alt.support.diet.low-fat,sci.med.cardiology,sci.med.nutrition,sci.med.d iseas es.cancer,alt.support.diet.low-carb |
