Default Cravings Triggered

For Xmas someone gave me a small bottle of ice wine. It's a special desert wine
pressed from grapes that have been just slightly frozen. It's slightly thick
and sweet as nectar. I finally opened it last night and had one glass after
dinner. Despite a filling dinner of broiled salmon, salad, and broccoli, I
became very hungry about an hour later. My craving was for something sweet.
Fortunately I realized the high sugar content of the wine had triggered the
cravings. Instead of going for even more carbs in a sweet treat I ate a small
amount of a protein/fat treat. My cravings soon went away.

Try this the next time you crave something sweet.

Also focus on this: If you didn't know your trigger food before, you just
learned something new and had a victory within the plan. It was not a
defeat. After Induction risks are introduced back in one by one. In the
process folks find binge trigger foods. Failure to experiement is failure
to learn. Courage to experiment is courage to follow the entire process.
