Figuring out calories
I always find it tough when we go out for dinner to try and figure out the
amount of calories in food. Last weekend we tried an Indian restaurant, had a chicken/pea curry, rice, indian bread. In passing I asked the waiter if they knew the calories to which they answered no. Not knowing exactly what the ingredients are, is there any way to ball park the calories in a meal such as this? |

Try using fitday.com (it's free!). Searching chicken curry shows 292 calories for 1 cup, indian bread (fried--puri) is 112 calories--there's no entry for naan--and white rice, is about 200 per cup, depending... So you can get guesstimates pretty readily. Best to research before eating out, though, as it can be a shock adding up afterwards... Good luck, Amy 168/117/115 |

Figuring out calories
Why bother trying...I'm sure you could ballpark it but why not just consider
it a special occasion and eat wisely?...One meal even a large one really makes no difference if you just continue eating well afterward...GG "1fitness" wrote in message news:e6eyh.908112$R63.475947@pd7urf1no...
