Default Not hungry... That's strange!

I hardly ate today. Breakfast: 10 prunes and a black coffee. Lunch: 5
big mashrooms, 3 tbs of almond butter. Dinner: One glass of grapefruit
and brocoli. It's 9PM, and I don't mind eating for the rest of the
evening. I'm going to eat more vegetables tonight and a can of salmon
just to make sure I don't get dizzy or something. Do you eat when not
hungry and knowing you may have had only 600 calories in the day?

600 calories is way too few to take in.

Sure. I guess I should have forced myself to eat which is so unnaturel
in my case.

Actually, I think it is the first time I can remember in my life -I'm
43- that I ate so little and needed to force myself to eat...

Well Jillian Michaels says that men should eat at least 1600 calories.
If you dont take in enough calories, you body goes into sarvation
mode, and then it will hold onto everything.

I was not clear enough in my post. I did not mean 600 calories as a
daily average but in one particular day. My average is actually 1700.

On the one hand food should be viewed as a method of preventing
hunger. As long as you ate enough that you aren't hungry you're fine
but understand that view needs to include tomorrow. If you start
eating
600 calories a day regularly in a while you will end up ravenous in a
way
that lasts weeks.

On the other hand the average calories matter a lot more than the
calories in any one day. Some days are hungry days and some days
aren't. If that's happening you're doing well on your plan. You're
average of 1700 is fine for a target weight of around 170 pounds.

Before I started low carbing I also can't rember a time when I'd be
hungry one day not hungry the next. When I started being hungry
on some days and not on others to me that was a gigantic victory
experience for me. It meant my plan was working very well.

Whatever type of plan you're using, this is a sign that it is working
very well for you.

Thanks everyone for your comment. I feel reassured.

Today was the same for the hunger. Lunch: Pineapple, prunes, and two
bananas in the morning. Lunch: 2tbs of almond butter, 2 carrotts and a
whole green pepper. Later on in the afternoon, 4 more tbs of almond
butter. It's not 8:30PM, and I am not hungry at all. I will eat a can
of salmon with one tomatoe and romaine lettuce. I think the veggies
and fruits are the way to go to lose weight.
