Default About Fitday PC:

Good Morning Everyone,
I had written to the Fitday site support team a few weeks ago with the
question weather or not there would be free upgrades to there Fitday PC
software. I received an email back saying "no there would be no free
upgrades that you would have to buy the new version at full price when it
came out".
I again wrote to them about that and about when the newest version would be
out. They said I was told wrong about the free upgrades and they never did
answer me as to when the newest version would be out but this is what they
said in there reply:

"You will be able to download free updates to FitDay PC from your customer
support account. This includes patches and added functionality to the
current version of FitDay (version 1). For example, you will be able to
download version 1.1, 1.2, etc. But this will not include the next major
upgrade to FitDay (i.e. version 2)."

Just thought I would let you know and if I get an answer about when the new
version 2 will be out I will let you all know.
Susie

The food database needs to be much bigger, and the calorie burn rates need
to be adjusted downward. Otherwise, I'm not sure what else they would need
to upgrade.

Hi all..

With regards to the FitDay for PC, is there a way to make a recipe
that includes several ingredients. For example, I eat salad every day
for lunch and have been adding each thing in one at a time.

You do it by dragging ingredients from the list of existing items onto the
Ingredients panel of a New food in Food Explorer. You need to be sure all
the ingredients are there before you start or you will have to save your
work, add the missing ingredient to custom foods, then go back to the recipe
you are creating and click Edit to continue.
This happens if you have a particular brand of something like salsa in your
recipe. Another thing to be aware of is that you need to put in the total
amount that the finished recipe makes first because once you start adding
ingredients changing that number will change their amounts. But once it
is done the recipe is in your Custom foods and is easy to use in the future.

In the download version you can make custom foods or meals. I have several
standard breakfasts, which saves a lot of time.

I am not familiar with the website version.
