Food & Exercise -- 8/1/2007
Lots of activity today. Went to the gym as usual in the morning, then
made a quick stop at Trader Joe's. Later in the afternoon I helped set out moth traps on the mountain (as part of my volunteer work for the conservancy). When I got hoome we did a bit more basement clear- out work. Food: * 7:00 (home): oatmeal w/ flax seed, dried cranberries, & peanut butter * 10:45 (gym, between lifting & yoga): energy cookie * 1:45 (home): turkey burger on whole wheat bun w/ 3 slices f/f cheese, dill pickle, & catsup * 4:15 (driving to mountain): energy breakfast bar * 8:15 (home): 2 chicken sausages; overn-fried sweet potato slices; 1 glass wine (bordeaux-style blend) * presently (home): ~20 cherries; another glass wine Exercise: * 10:00: Lifting: snatch pulls; power snatch; clean pulls; power clean w/ split jerk; back squats * 11:00: 75-minute yoga class, focus on hip flexors * 4:30: 2 hour hike up and down 1000-ft elevation mountain -- first 1/3 mile or so very steep and carrying a heavy battery in my backpack + 45 minutes or so of basement clear-out Chris 262/130s/130s |
