Default initial weight loss

Hello again.
What is the reason I lose so fast and quickly the first few days of
induction? I have been on LC a few other times, then go off. Each time the
loss is dramatic then settles after a couple days. Is this only water loss?
If I go off, I think the reverse is true.
Thanks,

Default initial weight loss

I have gone on and off because I normally am about 30 lbs. overweight. No
matter what I eat, I gain very slowly past that point. I have used LC to
trim down about 20 lbs. and it stays off for a while. I just eat too much
after going off. Maybe one day I can stay on LC with minor cheats, but so
far it's been a cycle.

it is pretty much water loss, yes.

Why do you go on and off LC?

Every gram of stored glycogen carries several grams of stored water
with it. When you deplete glycogen from your muscles and liver, and go
into ketosis, this results in several pounds of lost water. If you go
off and refill your glycogen, you gain this water back.
