It is nice that The Trial Produced a 90.4% Greater Fat Loss in the MaxWLX Group and The MaxWLX Trial Reduced Leptin Levels 42% on Average.

If you are a rat, injecting a virus carrying a gene for leptin
production into your brain will make you thin. It might work for
people too, but they haven't tried injecting virus into people brains
yet.

You may be right Del Cecchi, it seems research was not made on humans. I think genetic effects also changes by changing species.
