Is it just a river?
1. Due to scheduling conflicts this week, I wasn't able to make my
usual 7:30 am, empty stomach meeting. 2. I went to the 12:30 one instead. 3. After I'd already eaten breakfast and lunch. ....and I was up 1.6 from last week. On the one hand, I might've actually gained and should probably be honest with myself and record my weight. On the other, I think--no, I know--I'm weighing clothes and food and drinks and all that, and I went shopping right after my meeting, and I was still fitting into the brand-new, four-sizes-smaller *jeans* I'd tried on last week (which was not going to happen if I was really up almost 2 lbs). What do you think? Should I just call this one a wash, not record it, and see what life's like next week? |

have you ever weighed int he morning and then in the afternoon to see how
much of a difference there is? I know one woman (who retains fluids and bloats like crazy) who "gains" up to 8 lbs during the day. You may be down a pound for your 12:30 weight. I'd call it a "do-over" "Lump Chicken" wrote in message ups.com... 1. Due to scheduling conflicts this week, I wasn't able to make my usual 7:30 am, empty stomach meeting. 2. "have you ever weighed int he morning and then in the afternoon to see

In the past, it's been around 5lbs, but that could vary from scale to scale. "I'd call it a "do-over" " That's what I'm thinking. |

I would if you weighed at a different time. No point in recording something
that is more than likely wrong, unless of course you would like to record a whoosh next week -- Lesanne "Lump Chicken" wrote in message ups.com... 1. record it, it is what it is, if you gained next week will tell you that, if
it was a false gain you will have an excellent loss next week, Lee Lump Chicken wrote in message ups.com... 1. You see I'm neurotic about recording.. record anything, if only to remind
yourself of the different paterns you see.. put in what happened, and the weight.. next time the same thing happens you'll be able to say "oh, look, same thing same result." What should be recorded on my WW card? My morning weight or my afternoon weight? Because I've been going to afternoon meetings after breakfast and lunch and I always weight a few pounds more in the afternoon than in the morning. I'd like to go in the mornings and call that my *actual* weight because, frankly, it looks better on paper. But really, if feels like the more honest measurement of the two. Am I wrong? I always figured I was after the weight *difference*. When I did go to regular weigh-ins, I always had the same breakfast and snacks, and wore the same clothes. The only time you actual weight really matters is when you start getting close to goal. That's why I preferred to set my WW goal at the top of my range, so that I knew my actual lowest weight would be clearly within range, but I wasn't struggling to get my post-breakfast and clothed weight down. -- Julie. 93.5/73.6/74 (WW)/72 (Personal) kg 205.7/161.9/162.8 (WW)/158 (Personal) lb Here's our FAQ: http://www.didian.com/asdww/ and welcome notice: http://www.geocities.com/welcomenotice/index.html |

the point of going to the meetings is to get a consistent weight from the
similar scale, but it is just a snapshot, when you start recording this and not that it sorta feels like you may start self sabotaging by stretching things, Lee Bazooka-Joe wrote in message oups.com...
