Default 30 minutes of walking == success in dieting

You can cut back on your eating a great deal, and not show much weight
loss, at all, unless you also are getting some exercise.

Sitting in an office, doesn't qualify as "exercise", of course.

A brisk walk of 30 minutes does qualify, and makes a BIG difference in
losing weight. It works best if done every day, but just doing this 4
times per week, is quite helpful.

It won't make you look like a gym toned physique champ, but it will
definitely help burn some calories, stimulate some greater bone
density, and tone some of the largest muscles in your body.

Try it for yourself. In my diet, I could only lose 2 lbs. per month
without this extra walking, but 10.5 lbs. per month, (average), when I
walked 5 times per week, for 30 minutes, at a VERY brisk pace. **

Without the extra walking, my motivation to continue dieting, would
drop very low. 30 minutes of walking, for me, made all the difference
between a successful diet, and a failed one.

If you belong to a gym, then you can easily substitute some medium or
low level cardio work on stair-climbers, treadmills, or whatever. Keep
it at a work level you can easily maintain, for 30 minutes.

The big surprise benefit to me, was the substantial boost in
motivation for my diet, and feeling better, overall.

** I had better knee's then, and walked very quickly, indeed. I don't
now, but a slower walk, is still a big help in maintaining a
leaner physique.

Try it, and post up your own results.
