Default Diet disaster mode - time to restart

Well, it's time to follow my own advice - to try yet again. I've been
gaining and gaining all year. And I can't even pretend to be sticking
to my calories lately. I've been completely off the wagon.

I had lost 45 kg = 99 lb.

But since February, I've now regained 20 kg = 44 lb.

In other words, I've already regained almost 44% of what I lost.

sighsighsigh

The huge wake up call to me this morning was the scale. I have
rebounded now to over 100 kg. I am at 100.6 kg this morning.

When I was in the U.S. I actually bought some XL shirts to wear
because my L shirts were feeling tight on me. And my low-weight pants
are feeling tight too.

sighsighsigh

I can't wait for "new year's resolutions". I can't make any excuses. I
have to go back to the only thing I know works - counting food and
exercise calories - starting now.

This will be "Diet Part II", week 1.

I'll still count the 55 lb I *haven't* gained back to my credit
though!

Wish me ... what? Not luck. Strength!

Thanks, people. Well, on my first really committed-to-journaling-and-
sticking-with-it-day my weight dropped a full kilo (2.2 lb) in one
day! Obviously I had water weight build up from all the fried/sugary
stuff I'd been eating.

Anyway, I'm happy to report I end 2007 below 100 kg rather than above
it! Whew!

I also slept much better last night.

I did have otoshi koshi soba today, but chose the lowest calorie one
set!
