Default BMI

My BMI has gone from 31.2 to 27.5. that's good - it was "obese" now it's
only "overweight".

That's so cool! I have 10 lbs left to go from 'overweight' to 'normal'. Funny
how I don't really believe the BMI is all that important, yet like to use it as
another way to measure my loss. I guess I'll take all the validation I can get!
LOL!

Lot of talk about BMI. I don't quite get it really. I looked at a chart at
my club yesterday and I saw that my weight should be between 140-190. I am
6'2". Not sure if I was reading the chart correctly? I didn't see a
separate chart for women and men, but I suspect there may be. So what does
this tell me? I should weigh between 140 and 190?

Most likely, yes.

What does that do for
me?

It tells you that on average, someone of your height of medium build
should weigh in the 140 to 190 range to be at a healthy weight. It
should give you a starting point on your goal weight and/or a sanity
check (if your goal was 200 or 130 you may want to exam that goal).
