Default WHO: No relationship between cholesterol & heart disease

An ongoing study by the World Health Organisation, reported here by Dr
Malcolm Kendrick MD, shows no relationship between cholesterol level &
heart disease.

Russia has a high incidence of heart disease but the third lowest average
cholesterol. Chinal had 2% of population with high cholesterol (6.5mmol/l)
and Switzerland has a wopping 51%.

Does this mean I can eat Chinese takeaway with impunity?!

We already figured that out.

Was this correlated for other risk factors as to avoid bias? Given the
current situation is Russia, I would say most of the low cholesterol comes
from liver intoxication, thanks to vodka consumption. Then, if you compound
that with a catastrophic healthcare system and low incomes, it's no wonder
they're doing so badly. On the other hand, Switzerland has one of the best
healthcare system and one of the highest GPD per capita on this planet. It
doesn't take into account cholesterol breakdown (HDL,LDL) and triglycerides,
which are a lot more meaningful than total cholesterol.

LOL This from the anti-science, anti-journals, anti-expert fool who
complains about others not being helpful. Idiot.

Opinion with no basis for belief. Faith, not information. Not facts.
Not reason. Not logic. Not constructive data. Not a real name - not
showing any balls...

Nothing new. Move along... nothing to see here...

Bob
