He actually looks pretty good in that video. When I've seen him on
TV in recent years, particularly recently, he's looked awful. I also
thought it interesting that Chelsea told him he had to lose 15 lbs for
her wedding. I thought he looked even worse after that. I couldn't
imagine telling one of my parents that they had to lose weight for my
wedding. I mean, he's paying huge bucks for it, what nerve to
essentially tell him you;re embarrassed by how he looks. And he
didn't look over weight at that point to me.

==========

If he was my father, his looks would be the *last* thing I would be
embarrassed about...there are so many other things to choose from.

Being a vegan is a lifetime commitment to anything organic or purely came from agricultural produce. The advantage of this is it flushes unwanted toxins that retains on the body unwantedly. Our body alone does not produce vitamin C and we need to get it from external sources like citrus fruits. As they said he vitamin is the most important substance in the health alphabet.

The disadvantage is that it is very hard to get sufficient protein with such
a diet.

As long as attention is payed the protein isn't the hard part. Protein
from spinach, legumes and assorted other plants can work. Unlike meat
eaters vegans need to pay attention to not just protein grams but the
amounts of the individual amino acids. Animal protein is complete with
regard to the essential amino acids. While plants do contain all amino
acids in at least small amounts the amounts are not high enough for all
plant food sources to be consider completed.

The long term issue is vitamin B12. The only vegan source I know about
is spirolina. To me the short term issue is hunger - Vegan foods tend
to be low fat rather than low carb and I get endless fat cravings when
I'm on low fat. Not everyone gets these fat cravings but enough do that
low carb plans are very popular in spite of the endless media noise
equating low fat with healthy.

Actually no, Vegans should avoid organic food, because without manure it
is impossible or at least difficult to continue to raise crop. Non
organic farmers can use chemical fertilizers which do not come from
animals.
