Default Down and Out

I lost four pounds and an equal number of rolls of toilet paper:-)

Yes, I have to get give credit to stomach flu as a nasty and unexpected
method to bring my weight back to where it belongs. Since this is
dehyrdation, the issue remains to seize this as an opportunity to watch
food intake more carefully and maximize exercise when I am fully
recovered.

In eastern Canada, we are experienceing an epidemic of
C Difficile which can have severe consequences. Hundreds have died of
it in Quebec, mostly in hospitals where it often follows antibiotic
use.

One of the things that helped m through was that drink of hot water
with a little vanilla, saccharin and cinnamon and a few drops of lemon
juice.

The body is so smart. Once I began to recover I had a voracious
appetite. Today feels more normal so I will have to rely on will power
(or I should say "won't power") to ease into a moderate and balanced
eating plan to keep from regaining actual weight. Not much I can do
about the water weight, in fact I can't even tell the difference.

Glad to hear you're feeling better. I certainly hope we don't get a flu
epedemic here as flu shots are not available to many of us this year.

Flu shots are not for everyone (except the pharmaceutial corporations)
there are a number of people who have had adverse reactions to the some
of the ingredients in the vaccines and they are suspect in autism.

My husband had no trouble at all getting one today at his regular
physical.

Since I've never had the shot OR the flu, I have no intention of starting
now with either. s
