Jumping for Joy
I started the Medifast Diet 2 weeks ago after letting my self get to a
whopping 247 lbs. My goal is to try and loose 100 lbs. So far in two weeks I have lost 8 lbs and I am down to 239. I also started doing some low impact walking, which is a lot for me, I plan on gradually working my way up. Would like to hear from others who have had success on this diet. I have tried others with no luck or, put the weight back on shortly afterwards. http://www.analyzingdiets.com - Personal Blog |

Don't worry about the amount of time spent on exercise in the beginning as that will increase over time. Just adding the exercise is an important step in losing and maintaining the weight loss. I know of one poster who had success on a similar program but she hasn't been posting lately. Are you doing the program under medical supervision? This is often very important on the VLCD plans. The transition and maintenance phases of these diets are just as important as the weight loss phase. Many people successfully lose the weight but fail to have a good maintenance plan in place and revert back to their old ways of eating. Beverly 177/141/~140 since 1996 |

Yes Beverly, It was recommended to me by my doctor. I have to go in
for a check up mid December. I am excited, so far it is working well for me. I just have to survive these Holidays, sometimes I wish they were over.
