says... What's wrong with grapes? 1 whole cup has only 14.8 grams of carbs and who eats an entire cup at a time? Also, don't forget the antioxidents packed in dark grapes. I could and would easily eat an entire bunch, not just a cup. Grapes are lovely. So I don't eat them at all now. Same here. Who *only* eats a cup at one time would be my question. That's not a whole lot of grapes. LCing since 12/01/03- Me- 5'7" 265/169/140 & hubby- 6' 310/190/180 http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lcer09/my_photos Geez, a handfull a day is good enough for me and enough to get all those real nice antioxidants. |

Bob in CT generously shared with us this little ditty:
Personally, I think it's lack of blood sugar swings that cause one to be full. I agree. While some might find that protien does the trick for them, there are those for whom fat works better. I think it's because protien can be converted at a higher rate than fat to glucose and those who have insulin issues are more sensitive to that. For me, protien makes me feel full, but doesn't *last* nearly as long as fat does. So the more protien I eat, the more calories (in the long run) I end up eating. -- revek This Space For Rent |
