Default Day 36 of 100 Days and still 19 pounds gone

Day 36 of 100 Days and still 19 pounds gone
265/246/200

I got on my scale just now and was pleased to see that I remain very
close to 246. (My little indicator went just a bit over the 246 pound
mark but I didn't move the indicator higher to see just how much
higher it was. I know that if I keep on with my program, the weight
WILL have to come off, unless the laws of physics are suspended in my
kitchen.)

I had about 3500 calories on Saturday and about 2500 calories on
Sunday (yesterday). More than half the calories on Sunday and about
75% of them on Saturday were through sugar - e.g., melted frozen
juice, fruit pies, etc. The reason for this heavy intake of sugar (not
recommended for others and also not recommended for me) was the
incredibly shut-down of energy I experienced two weeks ago while
snowshoeing. After about three hours of snowshoeing, I just suddenly
could not continue, had vision problems, extreme dizziness, etc. Then
the person I was snowshoeing with gave me a power bar and within 10
minutes, I was moving down the trail pretty well. Yesterday I walked
for a longer distance, for a longer time period, etc., and felt
absolutely no diminution of energy. However, such high calorie fuel
(sugar) can have harmful side-effects, is high caloric, is not very
filling, etc. (When I used to run long distances, a 500 calorie fruit
pie was useful for another five miles.)

I did my little push-ups, crunchies, some light barbell lifts
(lilfting 12 pounds in each hand rapidly for one minute) last evening.
Today there's no major discomfort and I feel pretty darned good
although I feel as though I have had a good workout yesterday!

I'm cutting back on calories this week to make up for this last
weekend's planned excess and I am pretty darned sure that the 20 pound
loss mark is not too long in the future.

I hope everyone has a great day today and a great week and month
ahead!

Yours truly,

Caleb
