Default Week 1- Rejoined!

My water "trick" is to drink it with a straw and put plenty of crushed
ice in it when I am home. If I leave the house I make myself take a
water bottle with me and in the evening I drink a glass of sparkling
water. One WW leader told me she disciplines herself to drink 16 ounces
before she has her morning coffee. Try different things and you will
find what works for you.

I went back and tonight:

weigh in 210.4
(and I only recieved love, support, and encouragement... no negativity
or shaking fingers or tsk tsk tsking that my mind told me I'd recieve
from them...

my 10% goal that I'm working towards is 21 lbs!

WOOOHOOO! Here I go!

I noticed some new material than what I had last year... my points
value changed too for the flex plan. From what I can calculate:
2 points for being a female
3 points for being 36 years old
21 points for now for being 210.4 lbs (this will drop to 20 points I'm
expecting within a week)
and then
2 points because I'm 5'10.5"
a whopping total of 27...

I am going to work hardest at getting in all my water.. that's always
a struggle for me and I rarely do it.

Thanks again for the support I've recieved thus far! I appriciate
you!

Good job getting to a meeting. I know that I can not do this alone. Meetings
are very important to me.

Getting water in most days is not a problem for me unless I am going to be
running errands. Kinda hard finding a bathroom in many stores. g.

At home I have a sports water bottle near me all the time. We keep filled
ones in the refrig all the time. I like cold water and I like it to sit for
some time so that the minerals, etc have time to dissipate.

For a "treat" I get a large bottle of Perrier Lemon Sparkling water. I can
easily drink a Liter of this in the evening. I drink it from a wine glass at
a parties instead of wine. My husband has discovered fruit flavored waters.
I find them too sweet but you might like them. Most are sweetened with
splenda. I also like flavored seltzer as an alternative to plain drinking
water. Do whatever helps you drink your water.

I forgot, when I am struggling to get the water in I institute the in/out
rule, I put the glass in the bathroom, when anything comes out another
glass
goes in, Lee

Jane I am so proud!!!!

I too struggle with water. What helps me are those sugar free Wylers
and Crystal Lite packets you put in your bottled water. I know just
plain water is best...but I drink SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much more of
it when I use those...so in my mind it is worth it. The weeks I drink
good water ALWAYS show on the scale better than the weeks I don't.

Great job!!!!

P.S. If you stick with Tuesday we have the same weigh in day too.
Twins I tell you!!! And I'm 34 so very close to you in that respect
too!!!

soda became a non issue for me when I found out the hard way I was allergic
to nutria sweet, so now its splenda or regular, and both impair my losing
weight, good luck if its anything like coffee hard to stop, Lee

I got a jug type thing yesterday that holds 72 ounces, and it's blue and
looks fresh and full waiting for my partaking. I think this will help me

to
see what I've drank so far, and how much more I have to go for the whole
day... not to mention to see what's left of it for my daily must have may
influence me to drink it over my standard diet cokes.

Speaking of diet coke... can I just say that I'm an addict? I have been
trying to limit myself to only 1 or 2 a day.... instead of the 4 which are
way to easy for me to have. They can't be good for me... or my bones.

More water..
More water..
More water!!

great you went and took control. I hate water and so I got a glass that

I
measured and that is what I drink my water from. I have to treat water
like
medication or I don't drink it, best of luck on this first week, Lee
