Snapple: "healthy juices" or just loads of sugar and water?
I love the ocean spray splenda juice. Before HMR, I drank a big glass of it
every day. It has 1/3 the amount of carbs as regular juice. I think it has 10 carbs, as opposed to 30 for 8 ounces. I don't remember the calorie count, as it has been a while since I drank it. I personally think it tastes better then the stuff with sugar.... -- Email me at: perpleglow(AT)comcast(DOT)net "Jennifer Austin" wrote in message ... "JayJay" wrote in message ... Ah, I see... I guess I don't pay much attention as I've already found I don't like the brand - period. We have our staples of what we buy... And for us - the juices are either the 100% fruit juices (apple, grape, etc) or the diet V8 splash (or regular V8 splash for the BF...) Or the ocean spray juices w/ splenda or gatorade/poweraid. ALL of those get watered down though, so that you get 6 to 8 oz for a large glass of water - or in my case, a 32oz bottle of water.... Ocean Spray makes juice w/ splenda? *ears perk up* Is that relatively new? It takes a while for some newer products to reach us. How many calories in a serving? I also watered down my juice and will continue to do so once I can have juice again. Right now I'm restricted to non-caloric beverages. Jenn |

I think the H20 flavored water (I think made by snapple) with splenda tastes
great. It has 0 calories. My favorite one is orange. -- Email me at: perpleglow(AT)comcast(DOT)net "Beverly" wrote in message ... "JayJay" wrote in message ... I think the diet raspberry tea is without sugar, too. I don't have a bottle of it handy.... |

They also make a great sports drink with guarana in it. Very lightly
flavored and does quench thirst while working out. I like it for the caffeine in it...it really does seem to help me on my early morning workouts. Even if it's all in my mind, as trainer Eric once said (as he ate his ritual protein bar, put on his lucky lifting socks and moaned about missing his lucky lifting shirt) "Whatever works!".Elise "jamie" wrote in message ... The ocean spray has been out for a couple years now, and the longer its out the more I see it around. |

And even "real" fruit juices are loaded with sugar naturally, so even though they may have things in them like vitamin C, it's not really worth the calories, unless you only drink 6 oz like at breakfast... Better to find other vitamin sources and drink water. det |

i don't believe diet snapple has any sugar. But the problemis is that diet
lemon flavor tastes like garbage. Diet peach tastes very nice. JayJay wrote: "bicker 2003" 1NVAL1D wrote in message ...
