www.splenda.com

:-) great resource for splenda products.

The ocean spray has been out for a couple years now, and the longer
its out the more I see it around.

Thanks for the reference!

what about Arizona teas?

Just read the labels carefully. As with most bottled teas many are loaded
with sugar and calories. I like the diet Arizona green tea but won't touch
the regular as it's too many calories and loaded with sugar.

An outstanding article from NY Times.

Needs an account ... That takes time to fill out. I'm too lazy for
that.

Either way - Snapple = sugar filled crap drink.

Right. And even "real" fruit juices are loaded with sugar naturally,
so even though they may have things in them like vitamin C, it's not
really worth the calories, unless you only drink 6 oz like at
breakfast... Better to find other vitamin sources and drink water.

Hey, I've been making banana bread lately with our leftover bananas at
the end of the week.

Substitutes of:
1.3/4 cup of Whole Wheat flour
and Splenda for the sugar.

Everyone in the house loves the bread. I haven't taken the time to
figure out the nutritional breakdown on this yet but it has got to be
better than just regular banana bread. Right?

Jayjay, if you're really interested in knowing the breakdown, send me the
recipe, I can put it in my software and analyze it for you.

Its the Betty crocker recipe. Right out of the book, but subbing the flour
and sugar for whole wheat and splenda. Everything else equal.

We boil fruits to make a sweet drink (without sugar) for our son. In
Russian it is calle "kompot". Just a bunch of fruits that you boil for
a while -- apples, pears, prunes, whatever you have. We used to throw
the fruits away and used the drink only. I tried mashing the fruits in
a blender, adding flour and an egg, and making pancakes out of it. The
result tasted great, my son ate like 5 pancakes in a row. (he is not a
big eater and is 2 years old)

The pancakes sound great! I've used butternut squash like this also, but
bake it rather than boil first.
(going to inspect the fruitbowl)

By the time I discover my fruit shoved behind something in the fridge it's
gone a lot farther than southg

I love my new fridge for that... the fruit bin is clear in the front
and on top. So I can see whatever is in there.
