If you are still reading the newsgroup and have not had yourself
checked out by a doctor, then please leave your real name and address
with someone on the ng so they don't have to play detective when it
comes time to send condolences and flowers.

WOW!!!!!! Arent you being a tad sarcastic? Let it go Lee. Why should
you be so concerned as to what we do anyway. If Carmen and I wanted to
find out what happened to Bridget(along with 99% of the other people
in here who emailed us privately and added themselves to the list) it
was our right. How did your feeling get hurt so much that you felt so
compelled to offer your 2 cents worth and then post the sarcastic post
here. I suppose you could have cared less when everyone in here hunted
Robert down remember that years ago?? Are you jealous because you know
maybe others wouldnt do the same for you? If you never posted in here
again I promise I wont be looking for you.................. Your a
freakin' GRUMP!

Shouldn't that be: you're a freaking grump?

Fleets enema!
If no results off to the doc!

This has never happened to me! My belly is all swollen up, mostly above
the navel, it looks like pregnancy. Some pain and twitching under the
left ribcage. Very little bowel movement, no feeling of anything in the
lower colon. Upper colon area feeling of being stretched inside. Not
much gas, it's like it was full of gel ('soluable fiber'?).

Been painful for a couple of days. Lately I was experimenting carbing up
and using a lot of protein powder and some odd bulk things.

But it kind of started when I first began low carbing, in March. Then I
was using only very natural raw organic stuff: raw veg, yogurt. Felt
some stretching, gained some inches in the waist, but figured that was
because I was having to process more bulk to get the energy I used to
get from carbs, so it was worth it. It brought my BMI from borderline
underweight to more normal. Tho a little uncomfortable, no big problem
and all sorts of other digestive problems cleared up! No gas, no
irritable bowel, etc.

But now it's like there was a blockage somewhere between the stomach and
and the navel and I'm having to eat very small amounts, mostly liquid,
and nothing is getting out the bottom.

Took some olive oil capsules, also some herb tea (mostly camomile and
mint). Helped some but not much.

Aha!
This has been a day of discovery for me. I love days like this one.
Tell me, does the Pratchett rule discuss the use of multiple periods
(as in an ellipsis...?) Umm. . .never mind. . .I really don't need
*that* much convincing. . . hehe

But, Bob, even barring all that, some of them *still* don't make any
sense.

Thanks for all the concern. It's much better now. But I'm still
concerned about getting sort of stretched, gaining inches, every since I
started low carbing, even at first when I was mostly eating raw veg and
yogurt! It's like I had to eat a lot more bulk to get enough energy. But
I added some fat around the ribs too, in a way that doesn't feel
healthy.

I tried some laxative and olive oil, but prune juice helped more.

Did that too. :-)

I did go to my chiropractor, a wonderful New Age guy who does
Upledger/cranial-sacral work. That involves a sort of very gentle
'massage' working with the tiny movements of the guts and other parts.
He says there is nothing in there now, just sore and swollen muscles.

Long ago I was diagnosed with 'spastic colon' and later 'irritable
bowel'. Some of those sensations seem to be involved with this. Neither
is serious.

He was great, he told me to go back on Induction! :-)))) The bad
problem had come up when I was trying too many supplements at once, as
well as adding back rice and other carbs.

It sounds as if your stomach is not emptying properly.

Wouldn't that produce nausea? I'm not having much of that. My impression
is that something below the stomach is full and will not accept much
more.
