Default Sale on Tilia Foodsaver Vacuum Sealer

This is listed on the Amazon Friday Sale. It's a reconditioned item, for
$59. You also get a $10 promotional certificate for Kitchen & Housewares
purchases over $50 and it qualifies for free shipping.

I have no opinion on it, never having used one, but the reconditioned
Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker I bought from Amazon works like a charm.

I'm posting this because there have been a few threads here in recent days
on vacuum sealers.

It will be the BEST Kitchen gadget you have bought. It works great and
allows you to get over the idea of " I must eat it all or I will have to
throw it away" We have had one for over a year and bought a reconditioned
one for a backup. With the right attachment you can vacuum liquids in Mason
jars. Make low carb soup and vacuum them into serving sizes.
Cook a 10 lb Round roast and slice it thin and put in vac bags to microwave
for lunch and dinner. Buy the canister set to place the lettuce in to keep
it crisp and fresh.
I could go on and on so I will back out of this thread and see what others
may say.
