Fully realizing that we are all different, and our reactions to foods are
going to be unique to us, I still think it would be a good study for us.
For me I think sorbital and next maltital.
Anyone else/

Hi Jackie! Hope you're doing well.

Maltitol for me. I've developed a downright fear of that stuff! LOL!

For me, I think lactitol is the worst, then maltitol, then sorbitol. I don't
think that erythritol had any negative effects on me, so I bought a whole
bag of the stuff to use in baking, but I haven't used it yet.

In reasonable quantities, no problem with any of them until Hershey came out
with those da_n little Reese's cups.

They use lactitol and it was an "experience" to say the least. Something
akin to what my grandmother would have called the "trots" and major
flatulence for at least 24 hours.

Ive been having trouble with the truffles (Pure DeLite) and also the Atkins
shakes and muffins. A good reminder just to keep to the basics for me.
