Default Loser - down to the wire

Well...looks like September will be my first challenge that goes unmet. No
surprise as my dedication to my chosen WOE has been suspect this month.
Back on the wagon today and looking forward to getting my energy back. I
can't believe how much more tired I am now that I have been eating carbs.
It's unreal.

Anyhow, thanks for all the support and I will check back in on Wednesday
with a final weigh-in for September and a new weight for October.

If you know why it's not going to be met, you're cool - and you will do
well next month. When I hit my first major slow-down, and didn't meet
goal, it was a bummer, but you know what? I've stuck with it, and it's
worth it.

Hoping to be where you are, soon - in the 250s. And then... lower, and
lower.

I also had a stall this month and have not been following LC like I
should have been. Like you, I started in May (18th) and lost almost
40 lbs by the end of August by lowcarbing and exercise. I started to
notice some hair loss that concerned me. I thought it was probably a
combination of the rapid weight loss along with some recent surgery.
So, I used that as an excuse to go off the plan. However, when I
considered the protein and vegetables I was eating compared to what I
have been eating recently, I definately think I was eating healthier
on LC. The food cravings are definately back and I don't think the
sweets and junk food that I am craving are going to give me the
nutritional value I need to stop the hair loss. It's amazing how
quick the cravings and constant thoughts of food return. I am hoping
that I am at the end of the hair loss phase (it has been doing it for
six weeks). This happens periodically and, fortunately, I have
extremely thick hair and still have a lot, but it's a little scary
every time it happens. However, I'm back on LC and feeling a lot
better. Hopefully, October will be a better month!
