Excessively fat women look ugly. It is impractical to try and have sex when

after ****ing a cute asian chick, experience tells me it isn't all that

He died of a heart attack but given the heart problems
that ran in his family, his exercise program helped him
live years longer than he would have otherwise. That's
why I'm so into exercise. My father had cardiovascular
problems that I have inherited. He was taking all the
drugs the doctors gave him, but because he smoked he
died of a heart attack at age 57. I'm not taking any
of the drugs my doctors tried to put me on two years
ago, I'm exercising and I've cut my cholesterol and
blood pressure to the NEW recommended standards. Plus
I have never smoked in my life. I have 10 years to go
to prove I'm doing the right thing, but all the numbers
say I am.

Chapter 43
"Your presence is making me sick."

Tuesday morning the telephone woke me up to tell me it was time to go to
work. I did all the usual personal business, then got dressed. When I came
out, Lynn was sitting on the couch, watching some TV show where a talk show
hostess was listening to some women tell all the intimate details of their sex
life with dogs. "How long have you been awake?"
"A couple of hours."
"Sitting, watching TV?"
"Oh no. I got up, showered, went down to the pool again and did some
laps, then I showered again, changed into my clothes, went down and had
breakfast, then came up and watched TV for about 45 minutes, until you got up."

"I always exercise, every day except Saturday. I take that day off. But
that doesn't mean I don't get some exercise then. Actually, I need to do more,
because I'm not doing as much as I was."
Something about that bothered me, but I couldn't remember why. I forgot
about it. "Well, that's your choice. Every time someone talks about exercise,
I think of the late Jim Fixx."
