Woo Hoo!! That's wonderful, Chris! Onward!

Thanks, Laurie. I'm very pleased about it. I still don't know what I
want for a goal weight. I once thought it was 185, but now --
obviously -- I don't think so. However, it may not be that far away.
I am pretty negative on the idea of becoming too thin, as I have a lot
of muscle and want to keep it. But for now I'm just playing it by
ear. There's some attraction to getting to 165, as that would put me
in a more advantageous weight class in Olympic lifting competition,
but other than that I don't have any particular numbers in mind. I'm
actually pretty happy with how I look right now.

Chris

WTG Chris! You are doing so well! If you're happy with yourself, that's
really all that matters. I know what you're going through with setting a
goal, not sure if it's where you want to be. I've been obese all of my life
and I really don't know *what* weight I really want to be at because I've
never been "normal." Right now I weigh what I did my freshman year of HS
but I was 3 inches shorter and 3 clothing sizes larger at the time.
My fasting goal weight of 150 was set by my doctor and my personal goal of
140 by me based on my measurements, etc. I might not get all of the way
there because I'm starting to feel "too thin" in places - which by the way
is a total mind blower - so I'll work on maintaining and firming up a few
spots.

I'm skeptical of goals set by others, which are mostly based on
average weight charts and such. I think most of us are able to judge
when we are a good weight for us.
