did fine all day, till 8pm.
I did well today, all up till about 8pm.
Breakfast... a can of tuna (found bone and scales in it - YUCK) Lunch... cottage cheese, 2 slices swiss cheese and some fresh veggies afternoon snack ... 1 slice of arnold "low carb" wheat bread, toasted with a bit of peanut butter on it. dinner... 1 medium cut porkchop baked, spinach and left over spagetti squash w/ splenda and cinnamon Then at 8pm I'm starting to relax and my tummy starts growling. I drink a glass of water, that doesn't take care of the issue. BF gets a bag of chips, so I eat some. Then he goes for some icecream, and of course, i join him there too. Thankfully its the blue bunny sugar free (splenda) variety. But he topped it w/ some reeses chocolate syrup. Dinner just didn't cut it. Gosh, its been so long since I've been in "diet" mode that its hard to re-adjust. |

You know, my main entree for the past 15 months? Could barely stomach it. After dinner I went immediately upstairs and brushed my teeth. The thought of a midnight snack recently entered my head so I'm going straight to bed now. Be strong, Jayjay. Wendy |

Dinner - protein shake....AND.....pecan pie, sweet potatoes and cornbread. But my calories were still down around 1500, whereas the past week has been up around 2500+ I'm sure. So, baby steps I guess! det |

Sounds like "BF" is not helping things. Hardly anyone can resist
temptation stuck in their face. You might want to try to enlist BF in your struggle. (My wife knows not to have junk food while I"m around). Great job until 8pm. "JayJay" wrote in message ... Actually - He is someone I choose to love and live with, and if I can't hold my own around temptations then I have bigger problems to deal with. That's my choice. Certainly you will need to learn to deal with temptation, but perhaps he'd be willing to not eat foods that will tempt you right in front of you at least? |

NOT. (post not meant in malicious retort, but come on, this is reality we are talking about) Also - let it be known that in general, for over a year now, I've been in "maintenance mode" were I haven't really been too worried about food intake and control. But after over indulging for a little while, I have to regain control, get back to my comfortzone then I can return to eating normally for myself. And having chips and icecream in my house is Normal for us. |

(post not meant in malicious retort, but come on, this is reality we are talking about) Yes this is reality, and no I was not saying that your boyfriend needs to acquire eating disorders or trying to overly critical of you or him. I also did not suggest that he needs to sneak around or hide things. All I said was that perhaps he could avoid eating things that tempt you directly in front of you. I don't think this is a very extreme concept at all. I obviously offended you, but that was not my intent. |
