The pants
A little over two years ago before restarting Atkins I bought myself a three
or four pairs of chinos. I was 276 (lbs) at the time and barely fit into a 44 waist. One of the pairs had been misplaced in the wrong wall cubbyhole at the store and I bought it without realizing this. Not until we got home did I discover that one of the pairs was in fact a 38. For some reason, rather than return them I just stuck it away in the closet. A couple of weeks later I started up Atkins again in earnest after a lapse of more than ten years. (At this point I can't say that the pants experience actually triggered this decision but it might have contributed to it.) The other day my wife found the still unworn pants in the closet. I tried them on and... I'm still 12-13 pounds from my goal weight (anything over 210 and under 220) but the pants fit! -- Bob Kanyak's Doghouse http://kanyak.com |
