Hickory Farms
I just noticed in my AAA newsletter that on Oct. 1-5 AAA members get a 25%
discount online at Hickory Farms (although the Hickory Farms website says it's just 15%). The discount is obtained by entering the first 6 digits of your AAA membership number in the promotional code field when checking out. Their web address is www.hickoryfarms.com, but you might have to access through a special link to get the discount. (I followed the link in my AAA newsletter.) I mention this because some of their products might be good for long distance gift-giving for people you know who are low-carbing (think cheese and meat). Unfortunately they do not provide any nutritional or content information for their products that I noticed. You might be able to get info by e-mailing them about specific things you are interested in, though. They also have a couple of sugar-free chocolate items. For those of you who balked at the $40 cheesecake, disregard this post! (And for those of you who are now saying, "$40 cheesecake? Where? I WANT!" - http://www.qvc.com/asp/frameset.asp?...1125&cont=mhcd) Reb (who likes getting and sending food in the mail and doesn't mind paying for the privilege) ************************************* Does your photo do you justice? http://ThePhotoFixer.home.comcast.net |
