New meal idea.
I put a corned beef brisket in my crockpot, and it cooked for 12 hours.
Then I added in a can of kraut for another hour. Just before eating, I made my own thousand island dressing. In that was mayo, chopped up pickle, a little catsup, a chopped up hardboiled egg, salt and pepper, some tabasco. That came out great with little carbs. I put the corned beef/kraut mix in the bowl, added some diced up swiss cheese, and the thousand island dressing. After tasting it, I added some caraway seed, which gave me the taste of the rye bread...of which there was NONE. I'm happy with that. In about an hour I'll have that bowl of cheap, WalMart Great Value brand, Peach sugarless, zero carb, jello. .......Jenna |
