And you know this because your weightloss efforts have been so much better
than Placidbull's? Or you personally know someone that has died from
following the advice?

Why not just type what you mean in the first place then? I'm sure you can
give some good pointers, since obviously what you are doing works for you.
You just need to communicate better, especially to new people. If you say
you're "doing Atkins" don't assume that we know you've been following
induction for an entire year, since that is actually not the Atkins
process. Don't assume that we can figure out that when you say "don't eat
anything with carbohydrates" you actually mean "do eat some things with
carbohydrates." If you want to give advice, be precise, be thorough, and
be accurate. Otherwise you are sabotaging your own advice.

Oh, by the way, one of the reasons low-carbers get our panties in a wad
when someone says or implies that it's a "no carb" diet is because that is
the way it is misrepresented in the media, and that misrepresentation is
why we have to deal with well-meaning but ignorant people telling us we're
going to die because all we eat is bacon.

I'm new at this LC stuff, but your earlier post WAS misleading. How
can
you assert someone is flaming you because of your misleading response.
I
took you at your word, NO CARBS. However, this appears to be quite
different from Low Carb that you and most in this NG seem to be
following.
The remainder of your suggestions is consistent with other postings and
seems to be pretty good information. For that I thank you.

No. Do I personally know anyone who has died from jumping off a building?
No. But I still know it's a bad idea.

Plenty of people have died or gotten very sick from nutrient deficiencies
throughout history. Keep in mind that Placidbull originally recommended
to angelica that she should never eat any carbs again for the rest of her
life, before Placidbull took it back and said that wasn't what he/she meant
in the first place.

Oh, I did know someone from college who only ate meat and eventually ended
up in the hospital with impacted bowels. He didn't die though.

You skipped the most important part.

Does your weightloss plan work better than Placidbull's?

Do you have any proof?

Can you prove that not eating vegetables is unhealthy?

(This is much different than proving that someone can get hurt jumping off a
building, although it's doubtful that you'll be able to discern the
nuances.)
