Default That old weakness problem...

I've been looking at some of the backposts in Google, and I'm seeing
that people feeling weak is pretty common. I've been low-carbing for
nearly 2 weeks and I've had some pretty bad days of weakness. My arms
and legs would be the main problem areas. Walking up the three small
flights of stairs in my building can make me tired sometimes and doing
some light repeated movements with my arms can make them tired.

I read about some of the solutions to this but I'd like to ask you
guys again what I should do to help this stop. So far, I've just
gotten that I should take calcium supplements and some potassium and
magnesium supplements. Is there anywhere where I can read the levels
I should have in a day while low-carbing? Can I get all of these in a
multivitamin?

It was kind of strange today though, because I felt absolutely great.
I didn't get fatigued or weak at all until after work, but I had
worked like a dog all day too. This morning/afternoon was the best I
felt. I feel like if I take care of this weakness, then I'll feel
better than I've felt for quite a while. The only thing I feel I did
differently the day before was that I had some chicken pretty late
last night...

Anyhow, I'm just looking for more possible reasons for this
weakness/fatigue.

It is probably your transition into ketosis. However, you should make sure
you are getting at least 1200 calories per day.

This is very typical for those new to LCing. What plan are you following,
what do you weigh, how many carbs are you eating, are you a man/woman, and
are you exercising?

Give it more time...it takes different amounts of time for different people
to adapt.

Your body must adjust to not having lots of carbs to fuel its activity. It
must now run mostly on fat and protein.

I'm following Atkins, weigh 219lbs, eating around 20-30g of carbs,
male and exercising (walking, until it gets to cold and then back to
the gym) 4 to 5 days a week.

So you don't think I need to take any supplements? Or is that a
given..?

Well, you may find it helpful to slowly raise carbs a bit after induction.

I'd take at least a multivitamin. I'm not sure that will help with the
weakness, however.
