Do you follow a carb restricted diet?
If you don't then why do you keep posting to this low carb newsgroup?

Let's ask him.

Btw, there is much ng chatter that has nothing at all to do with
low-anything much less low-carb.

Perhaps your post might be considered low-nothing, eh?

I follow the 2PD Approach which is:

Low carb, low protein, *and* low fat.

Truth is simple.

Low carb, low protein, and low fat means.....

Low calorie. Your body is devouring your muscle as much as it is your fat.

You're right, truth is simple. But it will allow you to meet the humblest
person in the universe sooner than you may have expected.

I follow the 2PD Approach which is:

A diet low in protein is an important risk factor for heart disease:

http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritio.../protein.html:

"In the Nurses' Health Study, women who ate the most protein (about 110
grams per day) were 25 percent less likely to have had a heart attack or
to have died of heart disease than the women who ate the least protein
(about 68 grams per day) over a 14-year period. "

This refers to:

http://www.ajcn.org/cgi/content/full/70/2/221

(Dietary protein and risk of ischemic heart disease in women - Hu et
al.)

So many people don't consume enough protein even in their normal diet.
If they go on a low calorie diet and don't change the proportion of
protein in their diet, they will be severly deficient in protein. That
is probably one of the main reasons why weight loss through dieting is
not associated with a reduction in mortality in many studies.

The body has no reason to break down structural proteins unless it
needs to do so for the carb side chains of amino acids (when carb
deficient) or for essential amino acids (when protein deficient).

You're right, truth is simple.

The credit for the truth belongs to my heavenly Father whom I love
with all my heart, soul, and mind.

But it will allow you to meet the humblest
person in the universe sooner than you may have expected.

I've already met Him sooner than expected (and not from being at ideal
body weight) and He brought me back.

You remain in my prayers, dear neighbor whom I love.
