Food & Exercise -- 6/15/2007
Went to the gym this morning as usual, then had lunch at a nearby
restaurant. After a couple of other errand, I drove downtown to a hotel in DC where I'm spending the weekend for the annual convention -- and 30th anniversary celebration -- of the German wine society. We had a reception tonight at the German embassy, and have a bunch of stuff tomorrow and a brunch on Sunday morning -- a planned splurge event. Food: * 6:30 (home): oatmeal w/ peanut butter & flax seed * 12:45 (restaurant): salmon caesar salad -- big piece of salmon, greens, grated parmesan, caesar dressing * 4:30 (hotel): a sort of organic, high-fiber brownie (100 calories) * 7:00 -- 9:30 (embassy reception): ~ 14 oz. wine; ~3 oz. cheese; ~1 1/2 oz. ham; 5 small pieces bread; a few veggies w/ dip; several strawberries Exercise: * 10:00: Lifting: sumo squats; weighted step-ups; leg extensions; leg curls; calf extensions; hip adductor; hip abductor * 11:00: 75-minute yoga class Chris 262/130s/130s |
