When you can do that you can lift all the overweight women who fancy you!!!! I can already do more than 500, but I hope there's nobody heavier than that who fancies me. Wow! 500???? JC is JC, no doubt about it! 500 is not that much. Look up the records for deadlifting. OK, I have just checked it out. 500 still seems impressive, after a quick browse I think 500 must put you in the top quantile of all the deadlifers and definitely the top 5% of the world's population!!! Add to that you don't look so pumped up compared to men who can lift similar amount of weight, that makes it even more impressive. I hate to disagree, but even at local competitions I'm not lifting enough to win, even in my weight class. Maybe by the time I'm 50, I'll be lifting enough to compete. |

I didn't find it to be harsh at all, and laughed along with them. I always
tell them I don't drink beer anymore, but they don't believe me. "Ada Ma" wrote in message ... youngsters are really quite harsh. what did you say to them when they referred to your beer belly? JC Der Koenig wrote: At a BMI of 34 I had a serious beer gut, as some of my students loved to point out. But no, I don't have any pics of that. |

It is odious to disparage that which you have not the will to achieve. I don't expect you to understand the previous sentence. I could understand it in 4 languages...if you knew how to say it. Your arms are still flabby. When was that *black & white* picture taken, anyway? 1969????? Buwahahaha... -- Now **** off. You cannot possibly be this stupid and remember to breathe. Many people don't get my sense of humour, especially that English is my second language many assume that I talk nonsense or that I am strange. What's your first language, Ada? I don't notice any difference in the way you write from most other people. I think you write in English very well. Thanks Carol for the compliment. My first language is Cantonese / Chinese (spoken / written). I have lived and am still living in UK for more than a decade thus my writing is OK. But in daily interactions people can see / hear that I'm foreign in origin (my accent slips out occassionally) and that muddle things up a bit for some people because they don't know whether I'm talking funny or I'm actually being funny with a very straight face. -- I am the mean, the median, and the mode. My first job was as a hostess in a Cantonese restaurant. Mr. Ma was one of the cooks and Mrs. Ma spent all day chopping celery for chow mein and chop suey. A good friend of mine is Chinese, but born in Malaysia. Her accent is a product of Ohio. G Thank you for sharing. You are really quite harsh on yourself! To win you'll have to be the number one, but you can still be good even if you're not number one. Plus there are always the error terms / whatever you maths teacher call them (y minus y hat). |
