Default Motivation needed!!

I lost 42lbs over ten months and reached my goal weight in June 2005.
Since then around a stone has crept back on! I'm finding it hard to
get my willpower going this time, but would rather have 14lbs to loose
instead of 42lbs again.

Any motivation tips greatly received!

Bridget

Bridget -

Welcome to the group.

Congrats on your loss. It's a tremendous achievement.

But if you don't come to grips with the fact that this is going to be a
"life long journey", then you are going to continue to yo-yo up and down. I
am glad however that you've decided to do something about it now rather than
later.

I wish you success, but you really need to think about the reasons you lost
weight the first time and why you want to keep it off - those reasons, if
you truly believe them, will give you the motivation you desire.

It's in you - you just have to want it.

Yup! I had one installed for the customers to view their posh frockery.
Only place to nail it to the wall is opposite the bathroom door, so
that's just what I see every morning when I come out of there! Sure
helps to keep ME on points and exercising!

you know you did it before, and you know you don't want to keep gaining, go
through that closet and try on ALL of your clothes, get rid of everything
that is too big, then look at what is too small and remember how you liked
wearing those clothes and just start and DO IT NOW!!! welcome and good luck,
Lee

How much is a stone? Go to a store and carry around a couple bags of
flour or sugar as a reminder of what you lost and how heavy it feels to
walk around like that.
