Default Week 2: progress

Hi everyone,

This week finds me 2 pounds lighter.

Yesterday I went to a Tastefully Simple party. There were samples of each
of the products that were for sale. I'm not sure what the calorie count
was, but it didn't much matter to me because I wasn't hungry for the rest of
the day. Friday we went shopping at Trader Joe's. Today I spent the entire
day chasing down bowls that I could put in the broiler because I wanted to
make French Onion soup (Williams Sonoma for under $3 each!!) and I also came
up with an interesting Devilled Crab Salad recipe that is pretty decent in
points and quite filling and tasty. In short, it's been a food filled
weekend.

Today's warm weather inspired me to go to Galyan's (sporting good store). I
picked up some goggles and a kickboard for the pool. I haven't decided when
I'll start yet, but I'm making steps. I also parked far away in the lots
today because the weather was gorgeous (56 F according to my car).

This is a lot of progress in two weeks, in dropped pounds, fun with
food, and activity. You had both SVs and NSVs. I hope you're pleased
with yourself, because you should be. Excellent news Julie.

Thank you Linda. I am pleased with myself. I've been trying to give myself
more credit as time progresses and I am doing just that. It's harder work
than I thought though. I am finding that as long as I'm perfect about
journaling, I'm not beating myself up for everything else that isn't
"perfect" according to unattainable ideals that come from unknown
sources-that's a major NSV.

Congrats on that two pounds down.

It's so nice to know that cars predict weather better than weathermen!
