Well, despite the positive attitude and doing well with water, points, and
exercise I stayed the same. Looking back though a lot of my points were devoted to a piece of candy here and there. So i stayed within points but didn't get enough fruits and veggies in. Threw out most of the remaining Easter candy and put the rest where it is out of sight. A couple of NSVs today, realized that I am starting to get some abdominal definition...I actually have muscles under there somewhere :-). Also realized that my shoulders are now wider than my hips and even my thighs (or at least it's close on the latter). Hope everyone has a great week. -- Tanukiki (mom of 2 wonderful boys) Pre-baby #2 weight 239 (in 2004) Started WW 01/21/06 Reached 10% 03/18/06 205.4/181.6/150 -- Leader of the Cult of Worshippers of BiPolar Long-Haired Sexy Anime Guys with Swords |

"Staying the same" is normal on WW. That's why it's called "Weight
Watchers". Get it? There are many, many multi-year WW members on this NG who are still overweight and still paying WW every month for the privilege of counting silly points. WW is first and foremost a business, and they need to retain paying customers like you. They're good at the game. You clearly understand the reason you're still overweight: you can't get candy and other harmful foods out of your mind. This is all so very, very simple: Don't put candy and other high-calorie, low-nutrition foods "out of sight". Get rid of them and never touch them again. They are not "treats" to be rationed! Is this simple mental adjustment too great an effort in order to add years to your lifetime and improve your quality of life? Nobody has ever beaten smoking, drug or alcohol addiction by rationing the bad stuff. You won't beat obesity the WW way, either. .. "tanukiki" wrote in message news:EAW2g.3388$BO2.2932@trnddc02... You have a point of view ....great...good for you. I have lost a good amount of weight while doing WW. I tried on my own was much less successful . Don't you think if we could just eat less and not eat anything bad we would? This ng is a support group for those of us who know we need some help. It would be much easier if food tasted bad but it doesn't. I'll make goal within the next few months and guess what? Then I don't have to pay as long as I keep it off. And I will. If you don't want to provide WW support then bugger off to the diet ng a or somewhere else. I've had enough of your belittling of the kind folks here who try to SUPPORT each other while doing WW (HENCE the NAME of the ng).
