Default Happy Thanksgiving!

Just want to wish all my fellow Americans a very happy Thanksgiving day!
I'm in the UK and it's just another work day here (in fact I have to go get
blood drawn for several tests tomorrow). This is the one day I miss my
family the most. Anyway, best wishes to all of you and have a great day,
carby or not!
Love and hugs,
Em

And a Very Happy Thanksgiving to you also. After being in the Navy for 20
years and separated from family for several Thanksgivings - I pretty much
know how you feel. This holiday affected me more than any other when away
from home. Will be thinking about you tomorrow.

Thanks, and best wishes to everyone! This will be the first Thanksgiving
that I have not spent with family.I have several invitations, and as yet
don't know what I am going to do, but Thanksgiving should be a time spent At
Home. This won't happen for me this year, but I have a good feeling that it
will be spent with people whom I treasure, and that's almost as good as
being at home!

Happy Thanksgiving back to you, Em! I'm also an American living across the
pond (Holland for me), so I miss my family this time of year, too. This
year, we've invited two of our British neighbors over for Thanksgiving
dinner - their first ever. They are facinated with the idea of pumpkin pie,
or even canned pumpkin! We'll see how they like it...
