Not many, obviously. I take a look once in awhile, but it's dead.

Yeah. So it would seem. I used to be a regular on here when things
were jumpin'. I suspect that they've migrated to some Facebook or
other, similar social site.

I don't care for FB, so I've got to contemplate on whether or not it's
worth digging that info up.

Oh well, thank you for caring enough to reply, Trader.

They may have migrated somewhere else. But you would think if people
who were here regularly were moving elsewhere, they'd tell us where
that elsewhere was, so we could join them. I'm not on FB either.
And newsgroups dying isn't limited to this one. Even if they are not
going somewhere to discuss LC, I think a lot of people's internet
time is getting sucked up with FB, Twitter etc., leaving less time for
anything else.

Yeah. Roger that. While I do have a FB account, I rarely use it. Not
all that long after Zuckerberg first launched it, I signed up. Hey!
When you live & work in the silicon valley, you do stuff like that.
Besides, it was new, high-tech, and cool. After a while, I was pretty
sure it was going to be a sewer, and from what I see today, it would
seem that I had a clue. Still, I've migrated some of my attention to it
as a number of the Usenet groups I was a part of migrated too. I'm sure
there is one for LC, but I've not yet found it. Too many other things
upon which to waste ones time I guess ...

Oh well...we live & learn,

A few weeks ago every post just disappeared. I figured that was the
last of the thousand cuts leading to the death of this newsgroup. Glad
to see a post appear!

Yes, I suppose it's just a matter of time until everyone has gone to
different media, Facebook, etc. This used to be such a busy place with
really good info and such, good to see your post too.
