Default skiiny in the strangest places

yesterday I was noticing that my wedding ring was loose. At first I thought
I was just cold cause well, I was. But then today I was cleaning and my ring
almost fell off. I decided to look at my hands and I no longer have pudgy
fingers.

Also, Since I got back to the gym I have been putting my hair up. Something
I didn't like doing cause I thought my face looked fat and I had a double
chin. As I looked in the mirror today I noticed that my neck looks skinny
and long again instead of short and stubby. And that double chin thing I
have to put my head in a strange position to see it. It's still there more
than I would like it to be, but for the most part, its gone.

One more...

I have bones in my butt! Hard surfaces are not as comfy as they used to be.

To think that I used to take these things for granted. or I guess I would
have, had I realized them.

Just thought this was interesting enough to share.

hugs,

Tonya

YAY! I often clasp my hands just to marvel over how much smaller they are :-)

LOL! Ditto here!

I just LOVE making these "little" discoveries! Yesterday I was brushing my teeth
in front of the bathroom mirror and noticed that I really needed to shave under
my arms. Then it occured to me like a lightning bolt that I previously would
have had to deliberately raise my arms up quite a bit MORE to see whether or not
the pits needed shaving, not just hold a toothbrush in my mouth :-) This was a
particularly nice discovery for me because I now have the infamous "batwings"
that can occur after a big drop in weight. This gives me hope that they might
(and HAVE) tighten up more than I thought if I can see my armpits that easily :-)

I guess I will have to have the ring re-sized. I don't want to lose it
that's for sure.

wish I had thought about removing the double chin in previous pics. LOL
thanks for the tip.

Hee, congratulations! Are you going to have the ring resized, or

something?
Can you even do that?

I was so happy when my double chin melted away. When I used to take

self-pics
of me me and friends at parties, I'd raise the camera above my head to get

rid
of the double-chin, or use Photoshop to get rid of them... but no more of

that
for me. : )

I showed a coworker my ring and asked her why the ring was so significant to
me - she was expecting a beautiful story about it being an heirloom from a
dead grandpartent - so I said "I haven't worn it in 4 years because it
didn't fit but now it fits!!!" I think it's still a beautiful story

I have an 18" pearl necklace that I stopped wearing because it was cutting
off my oxygen. I'm hoping to wear it tomorrow night.

One of my brothers has this problem even though he's not exactly thin.
He uses a chair pad made out of the silicon gel they use in hospitals.
Feels just like flab ;-) You can try searching for gel chair cushions
online.

Me too. My wedding ring became too lose. I had a spacer put in it. I
don't want to get it resized yet because I'm not at goal, and for all I know
my fingers could shrink even more.
I've never had a spacer in a ring before, it's pretty cool. Kay jewelers
put it on for free (we'd bought the ring there 4 years ago), it's
adjustable, comfy, and invisible to everybody except me.

It's strange the places I'm losing weight. Overall, I look better than I
did when I got married Now my waist is smaller, fingers are smaller, face
has a better shape, etc... but my thighs are still larger because I can't
fit into the pants I wore back then. For some reason I thought the areas of
weight loss were more genetic and that I would be the same basic shape I was
on the way up, but that hasn't been the case.

loose! I wrote loose! I remember typing two o's to make it loose instead
of lose.... grrr.
Maybe there is some strange alien that hangs out in this newsgroup and
intentionally changes people's posts to make it look like they don't know
the difference between lose and loose. Yes, and that would explain why so
many people get it wrong. It's not that they don't know - it's the alien's
fault!
