I have to admit, I have some problems with the document (not the least
of which is that whoever wrote it is a lousy writer.)

First, the concept of a minumum serving, which is mandatory at each
meal. Okay, I'll go along for the ride. But a minimum serving of bacon
(which, I'll repeat, it states must be eaten in its entirety at one
meal) is 8 slices? A minumum portion of cheese is 8 oz. -- a HALF
POUND?

There's also the bizarre, liberal use of the word "candy" tossed
around (this coming after the menu requires 1 serving of "candy" at
bedtime but the first rule on the list is "Don't eat candy!"). From
the document:

"*BEWARE* 70% OR MORE OF TOTAL KCALS PER SERVING MUST COME FROM FAT OR
THE FOOD IS CANDY"

"Be very careful and don't trust the Iabels most diet soda is loaded
with SUGAR"

"Melon and grapes are CANDY"

Also noted: Cream cheese (a minimum serving of 6 Tbsp.!) is listed
under "fat" ... but also listed under "candy" -- which begins with the
statement that the stated portions of everything in that category
equal a slice of bread/15g carbohydrate!

Then there's the thing about eating all the fat first, but your salad
veggies have to be naked or dressed only in oil ...

It's, um, sort of nutty.

I thought you said you aren't OBSESED with food but all I see is post
after post after post about food, food, food from you.

You need psychiatric help for many more than that one ailment though.

I did the best I could!
My mother went on it to PREVENT diabetes, and her Cholesterol and BP went
up as
well and she suddenly developed a spare tire
I thought the deal with fruit was counterproductive to the whole reason for
low carbing.
My mom used to eat a pound of bacon then an apple, then her protein and
veggie.
It didnt make sense to me

It's, um, sort of nutty.

I agree.

I'm sorry -- I thought that you said you scanned this pamphlet from
another source. I wouldn't have been so mean about the writing had I
known.

I scanned it from the book and used the OCR (text reading) capability of my
scanner
I tried to clean it up as best I could, but the scanner did such a poor job
of formatting it.
I was going to make it an html page but that made it even worse. The Dr.
Wrote it word for word

But you claim that she prevented diabetes with this wunderdiet?
